Greeting from Chiangmai, hope this email finds you well. It has been a long time since the last update. We hope you are all well.
The Children are doing well. They are very happy at the school, lots of activities and study hard. Sudkhed and Oily has a good connect with children and school principle. They visit the children at schools 1 or 2 time a week to follow up on their study, personality and living condition. The children get together at the Schools of Hope Vieng Dong once a week to spend time together, lots of thing to share, many activities to do to keep them connected.
As you know, we have been working on ID card for children for many years and now a few of them got a Thai ID card. We are still working on the ID card for 18 children. Their name is already in the government system and waiting for the approval.. We hope we could get them the ID card in the next 2 years. It has been a long process and complicated but we will try the best we can to get the card before they graduate from high school.
Last week we received a visitors from DBS Bank Singapore, leading the group by Sarah O and her good friends come to visit the children once a year. They had some activities together, enjoyed cooking, chatting and having dinner. It's such a good time for the children to meet Sarah and the group again.
The weather in Chiangmai is pleasant, average temperature is about 22 -29 Celsius degrees. There is a big Festival in Chiang Mai this week caled Loy Krathong or Lantern Festival, starting from today until Saturday. The children do some activities at their school and get together at the center to make Krathong. They will release their Krathong into river to pay their respect to the goddess of water then follow with sky lantern.

I bambini stanno bene. Sono molto felici a scuola, molte attività e studiano duramente. Sudkhed e Oily hanno una buona connessione con i bambini e il principio della scuola. Visitano i bambini a scuola 1 o 2 volte a settimana per seguire il loro studio, la personalità e le condizioni di vita. I bambini si riuniscono alle Schools of Hope Vieng Dong una volta alla settimana per trascorrere del tempo insieme, molte cose da condividere, molte attività da fare per tenerli in contatto.
Come sapete, abbiamo lavorato sulla carta d'identità per bambini da molti anni e ora alcuni di loro hanno una carta d'identità thailandese. Stiamo ancora lavorando alla carta d'identità per 18 bambini. Il loro nome è già nel sistema governativo e in attesa dell'approvazione .. Speriamo di poter ottenere loro la carta d'identità nei prossimi 2 anni. È stato un processo lungo e complicato, ma proveremo il meglio che possiamo per ottenere la carta prima che si diplomino alle superiori.
La settimana scorsa abbiamo ricevuto un visitatore da DBS Bank Singapore, che guida il gruppo di Sarah O e le sue buone amiche vengono a far visita ai bambini una volta all'anno. Hanno fatto alcune attività insieme, si sono divertiti a cucinare, a chiacchierare e a cenare. È un buon momento per i bambini per incontrare di nuovo Sarah e il gruppo.
Il clima a Chiangmai è piacevole, la temperatura media è di circa 22 -29 gradi Celsius. C'è una grande festa a Chiang Mai questa settimana a Loy Krathong o al Festival delle Lanterne, a partire da oggi fino a sabato. I bambini fanno alcune attività nella loro scuola e si riuniscono al centro per fare Krathong. Rilasceranno il loro Krathong nel fiume per rendere omaggio alla dea dell'acqua, quindi seguiranno con la lanterna del cielo.
